About My Trip

Hi There! My name is Heather and I am 18 years old.  I am preparing to embark on the journey of a lifetime; A YWAM Performing Arts Focused Discipleship Training School! I will be spending the first three months of my adventure on the YWAM Base in Kona, Hawaii. There I will be taking part in Bible, missions and performance training, and then will spend 11 weeks performing, evangelizing and serving in communities in New Zealand and Korea.

In the time leading up to my departure to Kona in January, I will be posting about the ways that I am preparing. These are ways that you can get involved spiritually and financially, and what the Lord is putting on my heart regarding the trip. When I am in training in Kona, I hope to post about the things I am learning, the ways I am growing both in my walk with God and in my performance skills, and post pictures and maybe even videos of what I am doing. While I am on outreach in Asia, I will post about the experiences we are having and what I am learning from them, the specific ways you can pray for our team, and of course more pictures and videos as possible.

Please subscribe to my blog if you are interested in me and my adventure; this way each post will show up right in your email inbox! Also please feel free to share my blog to others who you think would benefit from the things I am learning and sharing and/or who would be interested in supporting me spiritually/financially/socially. You can also follow me on twitter. As you can imagine, this trip is not free and I would love to not be completely broke when I return. If you feel led to partner with me financially, you can give by clicking the “donate” button on the right column. Seriously, anything and everything counts.

Thank you for reading, may you be blessed my friend!
